CAS:2-Amino-3-benzyloxypyridine is a molecule with proton and acidic properties. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of paliperidone, an antipsychotic drug that is used to treat schizophrenia. 2-Amino-3-benzyloxypyridine binds to the mitochondrial membrane potential, which may be due to its ability to react with protons in the environment. This binding leads to depolarization of the mitochondrial membrane and inhibition of ATP synthesis. 2-Amino-3-benzyloxypyridine also inhibits fatty acid oxidation by inhibiting the activity of acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase, which plays a key role in fatty acid metabolism. This molecule has optical properties that can be used for chemical sensing applications.Formula:C12H12N2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:200.24 g/molRef: 3D-FA34425
