3,5-Dibromopyridine N-oxide
CAS:3,5-Dibromopyridine N-oxide is a chemical compound that is used in organic synthesis. It can be synthesized by reacting 3,5-dibromopyridine with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of an organic solvent. The reaction liquid contains impurities such as chloride and yields of 3,5-dibromopyridine N-oxide are approximately 20%. This compound is used to make other chemicals such as α-methoxybutyric acid and 2,6-dimethylpiperidine. The reaction product is a yellow crystalline solid that melts at around 150°C and decomposes at temperatures higher than 200°C. Reaction yield can be increased by repeating the reaction process in a microreactor at high temperatures (around 200°C). The reagent used is hydrogen peroxide.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FD29273
