2,4-dimethoxy-6-(morpholin-4-yl)-1,3,5-triazine is a crystalline solid that is a derivative of the triazine class. It has two asymmetric carbon atoms and can exist in three different conformations. The ketone moiety can be either on the left or right side of the molecule. The crystal structure of 2,4-dimethoxy-6-(morpholin-4-yl)-1,3,5-triazine has been determined by X-ray diffraction studies to have a monoclinic unit cell with space group C2/c. In this configuration, two dimers are present in the unit cell with an angle of 180° between them. Each dimer is composed of one methoxy group and one phenyl group.
