Stearyl behenate
CAS:Stearyl behenate is a pharmaceutical preparation that is used as an antimicrobial agent. It is a mixture of stearic acid, behenic acid and oleic acid. Stearyl behenate has been shown to have milder effects on the skin cells than other antimicrobial agents, such as benzalkonium chloride. Stearyl behenate has been shown to form microcapsules and films in water or oil-in-water emulsions. The film-forming polymer cationic surfactant in the mixture enables this process. This product also contains a reactive functional group to produce reactive biocides that can kill bacteria and fungi by reacting with their cell membranes.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FS172351
