CAS:4-Amino-7-(trifluoromethyl)quinoline (4AQ) is an antihypertensive agent that belongs to the class of ketones. It is a chemical compound that has been found to be an oxidative, antihypertensive agent for rats. 4AQ was found to decrease blood pressure in rats by inhibiting the production of nitric oxide and other reactive oxygen species. 4AQ also has been shown to have antihypertensive activity in mice by inhibiting calcium ion influx through voltage-gated calcium channels. This results in decreased intracellular calcium concentrations, which causes a decrease in the release of norepinephrine from sympathetic nerves and subsequently decreases blood pressure.Formula:C10H7F3N2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:212.17 g/mol4-Amino-7-(trifluoromethyl)quinoline
