4-n-Propylbenzoic acid
CAS:4-n-Propylbenzoic acid is a monophenolase enzyme inhibitor that is used to prepare samples for analysis. It reacts with phenols, amines, and other hydrophobic compounds to produce the corresponding hydroxylamine derivatives. The reaction time can be controlled by adjusting the pH of the system. 4-n-Propylbenzoic acid has been shown to inhibit diphenolase activity in an analytical method for determining carboxylic acids. The hydrodynamic assay was found to be more sensitive than the conventional analytical methods for detecting 4-n-propylbenzoic acid. 4-n-Propylbenzoic acid can also inhibit sephadex g-100, which is a chromatographic material used in preparative separations. This drug binds to sephadex g-100 hydrophobically and causes precipitation of proteins from the sample solution. 4-n-propylbenzoic acid mayPurity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FP38538
