8-Methoxycoumarin
CAS:8-Methoxycoumarin is a synthetic derivative of the natural compound coumarin. It has been shown to inhibit collagen synthesis and pro-inflammatory cytokines in vitro, suggesting that it may be useful for treating inflammatory conditions such as throat or skin infections. 8-Methoxycoumarin also has strong tyrosinase inhibitory activity and melanogenesis inhibition, which could make it an effective treatment for hyperpigmentation disorders such as vitiligo.
