Thieno[3,2-b]thiophene is a heterocyclic compound that has a phase transition temperature of -146.6°C. It has been shown to have a hydroxyl group in the molecule and can be synthesized by reacting naphthalene with thiourea. Thieno[3,2-b]thiophene is chemically stable and can be used to form polymers. It also has high values for transport properties as it is volatile at room temperature.
