D-Cyclopentylglycine
CAS:D-Cyclopentylglycine is an inorganic acid that inhibits coagulation. It is used to produce blood plasma substitutes and as a buffer solution for blood transfusions. Cyclopentylglycine has been shown to inhibit the prothrombinase reaction by binding to the active site of thrombin, which is an enzyme involved in the conversion of fibrinogen into fibrin. D-Cyclopentylglycine can also be used for waterproofing. The high permeability of cyclopentylglycine allows it to penetrate into wood, making it an effective treatment for wood rot. Cyclopentylglycine is not toxic to humans, but may cause irritation or allergic reactions if it comes into contact with skin or eyes.Formula:C7H13NO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:143.18 g/molRef: 3D-FC49100
