CAS:3-Aminoisoquinoline is an amide compound that has a nucleophilic character. It is used in organic synthesis as a reagent to convert primary and secondary amides into amines. 3-Aminoisoquinoline is also used for the conversion of nitro groups into amino groups in the presence of hydrochloric acid or trifluoroacetic acid. This reaction proceeds by addition of the chlorine atom to the nitro group and subsequent displacement of chloride with ammonia, forming the corresponding amino group. The structure of 3-aminoisoquinoline can be determined using magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The molecule has two chiral centers, which give rise to four possible stereoisomers: (1) (2) (3) and (4).Formula:C9H8N2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:144.17 g/molRef: 3D-FA11094
