Racemic 2-(di-tert-butylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl is a structural formula that can be used as an antidiabetic drug. Racemic 2-(di-tert-butylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl has been shown to induce the expression of estrogen receptor modulators and has anti-inflammatory properties. It also reduces the hepatic steatosis caused by high levels of liver lipids (dyslipidemia). Racemic 2-(di-tert-butylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl is not active against chronic kidney disease, but it can be used to treat hyperproliferative diseases such as cancer cells.
