CAS:Z-L-glutamine methyl ester is a synthetic amino acid that contains the amino acid lysine, which is used in many proteins. It has a nature of an amide and a functional group of an amide. The chemical name for Z-L-glutamine methyl ester is N-[2-(3,5-diiodo-4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-N'-(2-chloroethyl)glycine. This compound has been used as a receptor ligand for the NMDA receptor and ornithine decarboxylase. Z-L-glutamine methyl ester was identified by mass spectroscopy, proton magnetic resonance (nmr), and infrared spectroscopy. It has been shown to be selective for the NMDA receptor over other receptors including the 5HT1A, α1D adrenergic, muscarinic M1, and σ1 receptors.Formula:C14H18N2O5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:294.3 g/molRef: 3D-FG47853
