This coating can be applied to various types of particles including latex, polystyrene, silica, or titania. The viscosity of this coating solution is measured before and after application to ensure that it does not change significantly during application. A reaction time for this coating can be set based on the type of particle being coated, which allows for more accurate control over the thickness of the final coat layer.
