CAS:Methallylamine is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is used as an antibacterial agent. Methallylamine has been shown to have a bactericidal effect against certain bacteria, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus, by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase activity in the bacterial cell membrane. This inhibition prevents the breakdown of cyclic nucleotides, leading to intracellular targets and preventing bacterial replication. Methallylamine also inhibits fatty acid synthesis in bacteria and can be used for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions.Formula:C4H9NPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:71.12 g/molRef: 3D-FM52525
