CAS:Fmoc-Gly-OH is a peptide that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines by binding to the receptor for IL-1β on du145 cells, which are prostate cancer cells. The synthesis of Fmoc-Gly-OH is achieved through an ester hydrochloride and amide bond formation. This synthesis method is not efficient and requires high amounts of reagents and solvents.
