IQ 3 is a factor receptor that binds to epidermal growth factor and other growth factors. It has been shown to be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration by binding to diode-derived epidermal growth factor and other growth factors. The biological sample used for this experiment was prepared by removing the stratum corneum layer from the skin using adhesive tape. The section was then mounted on a glass slide and stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) for examination under a light microscope. A spectrometer was used to measure the molecular weight of the protein using mass spectrometry.

IQ3 inhibits JNK3 (Kd 66 nM), JNK1/2, NF-κB/AP1 in THP1-Blue cells (IC50 1.4 μM), and reduces TNF-α/IL-6 production.
