CAS:2-Isobutylthiophene is a pyridine derivative that has been shown to have neuroprotective and antioxidant properties. 2-Isobutylthiophene was extracted from the bark of the tree with the same name. It has also been found to be a potent inhibitor of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) and possesses anti-inflammatory activity.
