N-Alloc-L-valyl-L-alanine is a conjugate of valine and alanine. It has been shown to crosslink DNA in vitro. This chemical has been used for the treatment of cancer, with a particular focus on brain tumours and prostate cancer, because it can cross the blood-brain barrier. N-Alloc-L-valyl-L-alanine has shown potentiation effects when combined with other drugs, such as warheads.
