1-Methyl-L-histidine
CAS:1-Methyl-L-histidine is an amino acid that is a component of protein. It is a potential biomarker for detecting inflammation and may be used as an indicator of renal function. 1-Methyl-L-histidine has been shown to be higher in the serum of diabetic patients than in healthy individuals, although it is not yet known if this difference is due to the disease or other factors. The chemical structure of 1-methyl-L-histidine consists of one methyl group attached to histidine. 1-Methyl-L-histidine fluoresces at a wavelength of 364 nm when excited with ultraviolet light at 315 nm. The fluorescence emission spectrum can be used as a measure for kinetic data on protein synthesis in vivo, such as the rate at which tryptophan is incorporated into proteins.Formula:C7H11N3O2Purity:Min. 98 Area-%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:169.18 g/mol1-Methyl-L-histidine
