(S)-(+)-Ketamine hydrochloride
CAS:Controlled ProductKetamine is a noncompetitive glutamate receptor antagonist and anesthetic drug used in the treatment of pain, depression, and other neurologic disorders. Ketamine inhibits serotonin reuptake, leading to increased extracellular concentrations of serotonin. It also binds to opioid receptors and may act as a non-selective opioid receptor agonist. Ketamine has been shown to be effective in the treatment of depression resistant to other treatments and for chronic pain management. Ketamine is generally well tolerated with few side effects when it is given by injection. However, there are safety concerns when ketamine is used at high doses or as a long-term treatment due to adverse effects on the bladder, cardiovascular system, and liver. The most common adverse effect observed with ketamine is transient dizziness that resolves within minutes of administration.Formula:C13H17Cl2NOPurity:(Titration) 98.0 To 102.0%Molecular weight:274.19 g/mol(S)-Ketamine-d6 Hydrochloride (1.0mg/ml in Methanol)
