L-Cycloserine
CAS:L-Cycloserine is a drug with inhibitory activity against molecules that are responsible for locomotor activity, such as the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor. It has been used in the treatment of schizophrenia, which is resistant to pharmacological treatment. L-Cycloserine is an agonist of the α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and inhibits neurotransmitter release from neurons. The rate constant for its action on this receptor has been calculated and shown to be 2.3 x 10^6 M^(-1)sec^{(-1)}. Cycloserine is also an antimicrobial agent and is used in the treatment of urinary tract infections. It binds to bacterial ribosomes and prevents protein synthesis by inhibiting peptide bond formation. Cycloserine may have interactions with other drugs like erythromycin, which could cause kidney damage, or cimetidine, which could lead to increased levels of cycloserine inFormula:C3H6N2O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:102.09 g/molRef: 3D-FC56015

CAS:L-Cycloserine regulates sphingolipide metabolism by inhibiting the key enzyme serine palmitoyltransferase. Both cycloserine enantiomers inhibit 3-ketodihydrosphingosine synthetase (EC 2.3.1.50), though the L-form is the more potent inhibitor of the enzyme. Pérez-Sala et al. studied its inhibitory activity on pyruvate metabolism.Formula:C3H6N2O2Purity:99.5%Color and Shape:White PowderMolecular weight:102.09L-Cycloserine
