CAS:(2-Aminoethyl)trimethylammonium chloride HCl is a biocompatible salt that is used as a conjugating agent in the lab. It is used to form conjugates with reactive functional groups, such as carboxylates, amines, and hydroxyls. This product has been shown to be effective at forming conjugates with fatty acids and amino acids. The 2-Aminoethyl)trimethylammonium chloride HCl can also be used for diagnostic purposes. Tests have been performed on cells in vitro that show that this compound reacts with cellular fatty acids, which are then released from the cell membrane into the culture medium, making them available for detection. The conjugate formed between (2-Aminoethyl)trimethylammonium chloride HCl and chlorides has also been shown to be more stable than those formed with carboxylic acid or amine functionalities.Formula:C5H15N2·Cl·HClPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:White PowderMolecular weight:175.1 g/mol
