CAS:4,5-Dichlorocatechol is used for the treatment of wastewater. It is a glucuronide conjugate that has been used as a sample preparation and analytical method for the determination of 4,5-dichlorocatechol in urine samples. The reaction mechanism of 4,5-dichlorocatechol with hydroxyl group is receptor binding. This compound binds to t47d cells and carcinoma cell lines. It also reacts with oxidative dna and bacterial strain.
