5-Bromo-6-methylpyrimidin-4-ol
CAS:5-Bromo-6-methylpyrimidin-4-ol is an organic solvent that is used in the preparation of acetone, dimethylsulfoxide and cyclic interferon. It is also present in a number of antiviral agents, such as AZT and 5-bromo-6-(2-(hydroxymethyl)pyrrolidin-1-yl)-5H-[1]pyrrole[3,4,-b]indole. This chemical has been shown to inhibit human leukocytes by binding to proteins on the cell surface.
