Solvent yellow 124
CAS:Solvent yellow 124 (SY-124) is a model system for the study of membrane lipids, and has been used in magnetic resonance spectroscopy studies to investigate the interactions between fatty acids, hydroxyl groups, and hydroxy groups. SY-124 is a liquid chromatography method that separates chemical substances by their rates of diffusion. It is also used as a fluorescence spectrometry probe for oxygenated chemical substances that are chemically stable. The chemical structure of SY-124 consists of a hydroxyl group on one side and an alkane chain with two hydroxy groups on the other side. SY-124 can be separated into three fractions using a microcapsule chromatographic technique: (1) Polar fraction: contains polar compounds such as carboxylic acid esters, amides, and alcohols (2) Nonpolar fraction: contains nonpolar compounds such as fatty acids and waxes (3) Mixture of polar andFormula:C22H31N3O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:369.5 g/molSolvent Yellow 124 (Technical Grade)
