(1R,2R)-2-Phenylcyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid ee is an organic compound that belongs to the class of benzyl compounds. It is one of the two stereoisomers of 2-phenylcyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid and has been shown to be active against coccidia in chickens. This compound is a proton donor and can catalyse the reaction between nitro groups and hydrazides under mild conditions. The racemic mixture of (1R,2R)-2-phenylcyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid ee has been analysed by gas chromatography.
