Baicalein monohydrate
CAS:Baicalein is a flavonoid found in many plants, such as the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Baicalein has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α. Baicalein also inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and lipid peroxidation in vitro. This results in reduced inflammation and oxidative stress in vivo. Baicalein can be used as a cosmetically active ingredient for treating skin infections or wounds. It is also an influential strategy for enhancing collagen synthesis by activating extracellular signal regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2).Formula:C15H12O6Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:288.25 g/molBaicalein Monohydrate
CAS:Controlled ProductApplications An inhibitor of 12-lipoxygenase, leukotriene biosynthesis and release of lysosomal enzymes. It also inhibits cellular Ca2+ uptake and mobilization and adjuvant-induced arthritis. Baicalein is the flavonoid component of Nepalese and Sino-Japanese crude drugs.
