CAS:5'-Amino-2',5'-dideoxyuridine (5-ADU) is a pyrimidine nucleoside that is structurally similar to thymidylate, which it inhibits. 5-ADU is used in the treatment of viral infections and cancers, as well as in the prevention of radiation injury.
