2-CARBOMETHOXY-3-TROPINONE
CAS:Formula:C10H15NO3Purity:95%Color and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:197.2312-Carbomethoxy-3-tropinone
CAS:Controlled Product2-Carbomethoxy-3-tropinone is an alkaloid that can be found in plants of the family Solanaceae. It has been shown to have antagonistic properties against tropane alkaloids and has been used to study the biosynthesis of these compounds. 2-Carbomethoxy-3-tropinone is also catalyzing the formation of tropane alkaloids, especially hyoscyamine, from primary amino acids. This compound binds to dopamine receptors and inhibits uptake of dopamine into nerve cells, which results in its use as an antihypertensive drug or appetite suppressant (mazindol). The short chain length of 2-Carbomethoxy-3-tropinone makes it easily absorbed by plant roots for catalysis.Formula:C10H15NO3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:197.23 g/mol
