CAS:Controlled Product2-Hydroxy estrone is a metabolite of estradiol. It has been shown to be involved in the development of breast cancer and may be a biomarker for the disease. 2-Hydroxy estrone has been found to have genotoxic effects in experimental models and may cause DNA damage. It is also thought to play a role in regulating body weight, reproductive function, mood, and cognition. 2-Hydroxy estrone is an estrogen precursor that binds catechol-o-methyltransferase (COMT) and thereby inhibits COMT activity. This leads to increased levels of dopamine which contributes to breast cancer development. Experimental models have shown that 2-hydroxy estrone can induce tumours in mice by binding to estrogen receptors and stimulating cell division.Formula:C18H22O3Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:286.37 g/mol2-Hydroxy Estrone
