3-Amino-1,2,4-triazole-5-carboxylic acid
CAS:3-Amino-1,2,4-triazole-5-carboxylic acid (3AT) is an aminoguanidine that inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase. 3AT has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the corrosion of metals and has been used as a corrosion inhibitor. 3AT has also been found to have antifungal activity in vitro against Candida albicans. This compound binds to the zinc ion at the active site of the enzyme and inhibits its ability to synthesize DNA.Formula:C3H4N4O2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:White To Grey SolidMolecular weight:128.09 g/molRef: 3D-FA15531
