Dihexylammonium acetate, 0.5 M solution in H2O, for ion pair chromatography
CAS:Controlled ProductFormula:C12H27N·C2H4O2Color and Shape:Single SolutionMolecular weight:185.35 + 60.05Dihexylammonium Acetate
CAS:Dihexylammonium acetate is a hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) stationary phase that is used for the separation of compounds that are hydrophilic in nature. This compound is also used to identify sulfonic acids and drugs that are metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes. It has been shown to be effective for the treatment of cancer and has shown anti-inflammatory properties. Dihexylammonium acetate is also a chemical ionization (CI) reagent, which can be used for qualitative sample preparation, dietary analysis, and the determination of organic substances in chemical mixtures. It has been shown to react with oxygen at room temperature to produce dihydroxyacetone, which is used as a hydrogen acceptor in benzene oxidation. The hydroxyl group on this molecule can be determined by infrared spectroscopy or nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Structural analysis has also been carried out on this compound using mass spectrometry.Formula:C12H27N·C2H4O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:245.41 g/molRef: 3D-RPA79317
