(S)-2-Methylpiperidine-L-tartrate
CAS:(S)-2-Methylpiperidine-L-tartrate is an optical isomer of the tartrate salt. It is used as a chiral auxiliary for the resolution of racemic mixtures and for the preparation of optically active compounds in organic synthesis, such as amino acids, aldoses and ketoses. The tartrate salt can be synthesized from l-tartaric acid and (S)-2-methylpiperidine by heating in a sealed tube at 100°C to 120°C under reduced pressure.Formula:C10H19NO6Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:249.26 g/molRef: 3D-FM148658
