CAS:4,4'-Bis(methylamino)benzophenone is a high-temperature solvent that is soluble in most organic solvents. It has been shown to be stable at temperatures up to 300°C and is used as a solvent for polyamides. 4,4'-Bis(methylamino)benzophenone has been shown to undergo a transition from an orthorhombic crystal structure at room temperature to a monoclinic crystal structure at higher temperatures. It also forms terephthaloyl and diamines upon hydrolysis. This compound can be obtained by chlorination of isophthaloyl dichloride or diphenylmethane.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FB62641
