CAS:6-Aminohexanamide is a multifunctional compound that has been shown to have insulin-like growth factor activity, amide activity and a substrate film. It has been used as a viral vector in vivo and in vitro. The process of crystallization may be improved by the addition of caproic acid. 6-Aminohexanamide has been shown to inhibit influenza virus replication in vivo and in vitro, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of new influenza virus particles.
