The enthalpic parameters for the reaction of methyl 1-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate with acetonitrile were determined experimentally at various temperatures. Kinetic analysis showed that the reaction proceeds via a peroxide mechanism with gaseous hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant.
