Scandium acetate hydrate
CAS:Scandium acetate hydrate is a chemical compound with the molecular formula Sc(OCH)(HO). It is a colorless solid with an insulating and stabilizing effect. Scandium acetate hydrate can be used as a chloride ion source in organic synthesis, for example in reactions involving amines or phosphine ligands. Scandium acetate hydrate also has been shown to be an effective catalyst for nitric acid-based oxidations, such as the production of ammonium nitrate from ammonia and nitric acid. The perovskite structure of this compound has been studied using x-ray diffraction. Scandium acetate hydrate is used in fabrication of semiconductors, transistors, and other electronic devices. In these applications it can replace the more expensive element zirconium.Formula:C6H9O6ScPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:222.09 g/molScandium(III) Acetate Hydrate
