4-Phenoxythiophenol
CAS:4-Phenoxythiophenol is a pharmacophore that has been shown to inhibit the activity of an enzyme called cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2). This enzyme is involved in the production of inflammatory prostaglandins, which are released by cells in response to injury or infection. 4-Phenoxythiophenol reduces inflammation by inhibiting cPLA2, which prevents the release of prostaglandins. This drug also has analgesic properties, but its mechanism of action is not well understood.Formula:C12H10OSPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:202.27 g/mol
