The hydrogen bond between the nitro group and the active methylene group in 3,4-dinitro-1H-pyrazole is an important factor in the thermodynamic properties of this compound. It has been shown that the reaction solution of 3,4-dinitro-1H-pyrazole has a morphology with needle crystals. 3,4-Dinitro-1H-pyrazole has not been found to be reactive with other compounds under normal conditions. The element analysis of 3,4-Dinitro-1H-pyrazole has shown that it contains carbon (C), hydrogen (H), and nitrogen (N).
