Gabexate
CAS:Gabexate is a protease inhibitor that is used to treat acute pancreatitis. It inhibits the activity of trypsin and other proteases, which are enzymes that break down proteins in the body. Gabexate mesylate inhibits the activity of these enzymes, thereby reducing inflammation and improving digestion. It has been shown to be effective in treating syncytial virus infection, as well as acute pancreatitis. Gabexate also has inhibitory properties against injury of the pancreas, which may be due to its inhibition of protein synthesis, leading to less cell death. Gabexate mesylate can cause drug interactions with drugs such as erythromycin or ciprofloxacin because it is a substrate for CYP3A4 and P-glycoprotein.Formula:C16H23N3O4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:321.38 g/molGabexate Mesylate
