CAS:2-Bromobenzylamine is a synthetic compound that inhibits the monoamine oxidase enzyme, which is responsible for the degradation of neurotransmitters such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. 2-Bromobenzylamine has been shown to inhibit the oxidation of dopamine at an activation energy of 40 kcal/mol. 2-Bromobenzylamine also has an affinity for muscle tissue and has been used in studies on muscular dystrophy. The drug inhibits the production of lactic acid and increases pH levels in muscles cells. It also blocks adrenergic receptors that are involved in the regulation of blood pressure.Formula:C7H8BrNPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:186.05 g/molRef: 3D-FB64367
