Azocyclotin
CAS:Azocyclotin is a chemical pesticide that can be used in vitro to test the effects of pesticides on detoxification enzymes. It is also used as an insecticide against pests such as houseflies, fleas, and cockroaches. Azocyclotin inhibits the growth of insects by inhibiting their detoxification enzymes. This agent has been shown to be effective against high-resistant strains of insects and has been found to induce up-regulated genes in these insects. Azocyclotin binds to the active site of cytochrome P450 and carbonyl groups on the surface of enzymes, leading to enzyme inhibition. The analytical method for determining azocyclotin is through monoclonal antibodies and surface methodology methods.Formula:C20H35N3SnPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:436.22 g/molAzocyclotin
CAS:Controlled ProductApplications Azocyclotin is an organotin aracacide used in the control of mites. Azocyclotin showed weak antifeedant activity against other insects such as Spodoptera littoralis.
