CAS:4'-Hexyl-4-Biphenylcarbonitrile is a cyanobiphenyl with a phase transition temperature of -118°C. It has viscosity at room temperature and a low vapor pressure. When the compound is heated to -118°C, it undergoes a phase transition from a liquid to an isotropic solid. The compound's monolayer has been studied by taking snapshots of the adsorbates on the surface at different times during the process. The birefringence profiles have been measured for the monolayers, and constant simulations have been performed to study the orientations of adsorbates on the surface. These studies have shown that when 4'-hexyl-4-biphenylcarbonitrile is exposed to gold nanoparticles, its morphology changes from one type of hexagonal lattice to another type of hexagonal lattice.Formula:C19H21NPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:263.38 g/molRef: 3D-FH13831
