It reduces the viscosity of aqueous solutions and is used as an enantiopure for amines. 2-Amino-1,3,5-triazine can be used in reactions with metal surfaces to produce surface coatings or used as a bifunctional crosslinking agent for polymer materials. 2-Amino-1,3,5-triazine has been shown to have degenerative disease inhibitory activity and inflammatory disease inhibitory activity.
