CAS:Formula:C15H22O2Color and Shape:White To Off-White SolidMolecular weight:234.34Ethyl 2-(4-isobutylphenyl)propionate
CAS:Ethyl 2-(4-isobutylphenyl)propionate is a low energy compound that has been shown to have anticancer activity in vitro. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to their surface without entering the cell. Ethyl 2-(4-isobutylphenyl)propionate binds to the active site of lipolytic enzymes and blocks their activity, leading to the accumulation of triglycerides in cancer cells. The reaction is enhanced by hydrochloric acid and ellagitannins, which are plant polyphenols that inhibit the activity of lipolytic enzymes. The optimal reaction conditions for ethyl 2-(4-isobutylphenyl)propionate are at pH 5 and 37 °C, with a viscosity of 1.8 cP. The fluorescence techniques used in this study were UV-visible spectroscopy and fluorescence polarization assay.Formula:C15H22O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:234.34 g/molEthyl 2-(4-isobutylphenyl)propanoate
