1,3-Dimethyl-5-nitropyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione
CAS:1,3-Dimethyl-5-nitropyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione is a postulated inhibitor of the biosynthesis of thymidylate. It has been shown to inhibit the formation of DNA by reversibly covalently binding to the enzyme thymidylate synthetase and blocking its activity. 1,3-Dimethyl-5-nitropyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione has also been shown to inhibit both thermally and radiation induced DNA synthesis in cells infected with herpes simplex virus. This drug may be used as an antiviral agent against vesicular stomatitis virus and vesicular stomatitis.Formula:C6H7N3O4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:185.14 g/molRef: 3D-FD115536
