CAS:1-Methyl-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-5-nitro-1H-imidazole (1MFNP) is a drug that has been used to treat amoebiasis. It is a quinolone derivative that inhibits the growth of trophozoites by binding to DNA and RNA, thereby inhibiting protein synthesis. 1MFNP also reduces diarrhoea by interfering with the production of fluid in the intestines. The drug has been shown to be effective in clinical studies for the treatment of amoebiasis, although it does not work as well as quinine.Formula:C10H8FN3O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:221.19 g/mol
