1-Phenyl-1-pentyne
CAS:1-Phenyl-1-pentyne is a surfactant that can be used in the synthesis of trifluoroacetic acid. It reacts with sodium dodecyl to form an optimal reaction and selectivities. The rate enhancement of 1-phenyl-1-pentyne is much greater than that of sodium dodecyl, which means it will react more quickly with styrene. The kinetic data for this reaction shows that the reaction time is shorter than that of sodium dodecyl, and there are no stereoselective effects due to the lack of chiral centers. 1-Phenyl-1-pentyne has a pharmacophore similar to sodium dodecyl.Formula:C11H12Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:144.22 g/mol1-Phenyl-1-pentyne, 98%
CAS:It finds it application in the highly regioselective synthesis of polysubstituted naphthalene derivatives through gallium trichloride catalyzed alkyne-aldehyde coupling.
