1H-Benzimidazol-7-amine
CAS:1H-Benzimidazol-7-amine is a protonated carbonyl compound that has a low basicity and is dehydrating. It can be synthesized using a solid-phase synthesis in which the amine is attached to an insoluble support. The deprotonation of this amine with hydrochloric acid or acetonitrile provides the formyl group. This reaction can be catalyzed by reducing agents such as lithium aluminum hydride, sodium borohydride, or hydrogen gas. 1H-Benzimidazol-7-amine has been used for the synthesis of diazepines. Dihydrobenzimidazole, for example, was synthesized by reacting 1H-benzimidazole with cyclohexene oxide in the presence of sodium hydroxide.Formula:C7H7N3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:133.15 g/molRef: 3D-FB118807
