1-(Phenylsulfonyl)-1H-imidazole
CAS:1-(Phenylsulfonyl)-1H-imidazole is a reagent that is used for the preparation of benzenesulfonic acid derivatives. It can be prepared by the reaction of phenylsulfonyl chloride with imidazole in acidic conditions or by the addition of an amine to 1-phenylsulfonylimidazole. The product has low yield and it is often prepared from its precursors, dibutyltin oxide and sulfoxide chloride. The product is soluble in solvents such as n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, which makes it useful for reactions involving aminolysis and chloride.Formula:C9H8N2O2SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:208.24 g/mol1-(Phenylsulfonyl)-1H-Imidazole
